Kimmage is a short drive across from our base, and we cover the whole area, from Kimmage Cross Roads and Kimmage Road Lower to Sundrive Road, Mount Argus and the streets towards Harold's Cross.
Most of Kimmage was built from the 1930s to the 1950s. These solid family homes have usually been extended and updated over the years, but the wiring has not always kept up. An extension on one side, a new kitchen on the other and an old fuse board in the hall is a common picture. A fuse board upgrade or a rewire sorts it out properly, and a periodic inspection tells you which one you need.
If you are renovating, talk to us early. It is much cheaper and tidier to plan sockets, lighting and circuits before the plastering is done. We also install EV chargers for Kimmage homes with off street parking.
